Hope Career Fair 2025

Hope Career Fair 2025

What’s next?

That is the question running rent-free in the minds of our senior high school students as the end of their high school life approaches. Fortunately, the HCHS Guidance and Counseling Department organized a three-day career fair to help them answer this life-changing question.

Held on October 13-15, the Hope Career Fair 2025 gave our senior students the avenue to explore career opportunities, to connect with experts, and to plan for their future. The fair kicked off with GuidanceNGO’s “ANCPAG Career Seminar on Adaptation,” a session designed to equip students in career planning. The topics discussed include choosing colleges and universities, critical thinking in higher education, understanding board exams and accreditation, centers of excellence and development, other considerations for choosing HEIs, levels of education, and career interest and prospective incomes. This seminar encouraged students to approach their college and career goals with wisdom and purpose.

The campus became a hub of opportunities as the days unfolded. Representatives from international and top local universities and colleges led admissions talks with the students. These talks put a focus on their institutions’ application procedures, requirements and timeline, program and scholarship offerings, campus life, and post-graduation opportunities.

Bridging inspiration with experience, HCHS alumni and professionals shared their invaluable insights into their fields, career paths, and professional development. From these talks, the students learned about the skills, values, and challenges that shape professional growth. They were also informed about the steps they need to take, college programs to pursue, and opportunities to watch out for in their chosen professions. More importantly, they were reminded of looking for the meaning and purpose behind their chosen career paths, emphasizing that true success comes from using their gifts to serve others and to glorify God. These discussions introduced students to a variety of professions, inspiring and motivating them to reflect on their career goals and plans more deeply.

A career fair is not a fair without booths to explore. Excitement filled the school grounds as booths from multiple universities and colleges were set up. The representatives from these institutions prepared fun gimmicks to attract the students. Colorful brochures, useful freebies, and interactive activities made the students more eager to visit the booths. Through this fair, the students also gained insights into making important decisions about their future education and career paths.

As the three-day fair concluded, the students left with more than just brochures and freebies. They also carried with them roadmaps to their future. The career fair helped make the answer to “‘What’s next?’” clearer, yet a new question inevitably pops up:

What now?

This question demands more than just reflection—it calls for action. Hope Career Fair 2025 leaves the students with a challenge: take intentional and concrete steps to live the future you envision.
